Investment to start-up enterprises and post-start-ups after the company has already completed its product development and needs capital to start production and marketing.

A minority stake investment, with the goal of organic or external growth of the business.
BUYOUT CAPITAL
A majority stake investment in a mature company by using LBOs.
TOURNAROUND CAPITAL
